ARTHUR FAGEN returns to ATLANTA to conduct Wagner’s Der Fliegende Hollaender
After the enormous success in the celebrated Glass’s opera Akhnaten last January, Mr. Fagen returns to the Atlanta Opera to conduct a new production of Wagner’s Die Fliegende Hollaender (The Flying Dutchman ) in April and May. The cast includes the American baritone Mark Delavan in one of his signature roles, the Dutchman, and Swedish-American soprano Erika Sunnegardh.
