After a very successful performances of Mozart’s Magic Flute in Atlanta, Arthur Fagen conducts the Orquestra Sinfonica at the Teatro Nacional Claudio Santoro in Brasilia on 8 and 15 June with two different programs. First program features Rimsky-Korsakov‘s Sadko and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony n. 4, and second program includes Mozart’s Symphony KV 184 and Mahler’s Symphony n. 4. The Naxos CD with Martinu Piano Concertos, released in January 2010, received rave reviews from international critics. The recording was also included on the latest top bestsellings Naxos albums, as well as on Gramophone Magazine’s Specialist Classical Chart, where it retains a position among the top 20 albums.
