The new production of Fidelio at the Portland Opera conducted in November by Mr. Fagen was highly acclaimed by critics and audience (see last reviews). In December Mr. Fagen starts the rehearsals of the New Year Concert of the Orchestra Haydn of Bolzano and Trento, Italy. The concert will be performed in different places of North Italy, including Dobbiaco, Trento, Merano, Bolzano and Bressanone. Mr. Fagen will open in a festive atmosphere the year 2009 conducting works by Franz Lehar, Johann Strauss, Leroy Anderson, Richard Rodgers and Irving Berlin.
