This May, Mr. Fagen returns to Europe for two distinguished symphonic engagements.
On May 15, he conducts the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra in Croatia in a programme featuring works by Mendelssohn and Mozart, culminating in Schubert’s Symphony No. 8, the celebrated “Unfinished.”
Later in the month, on May 21, Maestro Fagen takes the podium at Budapest’s prestigious Liszt Academy with the Danubia Symphony Orchestra for an evocative programme including Bernstein’s Halil, Wagner’s luminous Siegfried Idyll, and Borodin’s majestic Symphony No. 2.
