On October 3, Arthur Fagen opened the season of the Atlanta Opera with a fresh interpretation of Puccini’s La bohème
Arthur Fagen started his 2015/2016 season conducting the masterpiece by Puccini La bohème, the love story of Mimì and Rodolfo, young lovers living in Paris in the nineteenth century. This production by General and Artistic Director Tomer Zvulun brings a grand cinematic approach to one of the greatest operas of all time.
Bob Heller of the Atlanta Arts Scenes wrote:

The music is totally sublime. You can close your eyes and be transported to heaven by the score which is so wonderfully conducted by Arthur Fagen. I’ve seen La bohème many times and I have never, seen a better stage setting.

Mr. Fagen conducted the première on October 3, further performances on October 6, 9 and 11, 2015.
