ARTHUR FAGEN renewed his position as Music Director of the Atlanta Opera until 2017. This October Mr. Fagen conducts La Traviata at the Boston Lyric Opera
Mr. Fagen, highly appreciated for his work with the Atlanta Opera House, has been appointed to continue his engagement with the institution for next three years. This season Arthur Fagen will be conducting in Atlanta Madama Butterfly and the Marriage of Figaro.
His next engagement will bring him to the Boston Lyric Opera, conducting in October Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata in a glorious new production since the opera has not seen at the BLO in nearly a decade. Performances on October 10, 12, 15, 17 and 19, 2014.
